Meet Jacquelyn
Hi there! I’m Jacquelyn Fanno, and I can’t tell you how excited I became when I realized what I wanted to do with the next chapter of my life. Thus the creation of Erotic Wellness!
So now for what brought me to this point…
I graduated in 2006 from both Florida Gulf Coast University with a B.S. in Health Sciences and Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology with a Certificate of Massage.
After deciding that graduate school wasn’t for me, I stuck with massage and discovered it was a true passion of mine! I was lucky to immediately start in amazing job environments. Examples include The Ritz Carlton, physical therapy and rehabilitation centers, 5 different sports teams with the University of Central Florida in Orlando, and backstage/on location massage for touring bands and various other celebrities.
Discovering my passion for teaching.
After two years I interviewed for a teaching position at Keiser University in Orlando to instruct their university level massage therapy course, and I landed it! I taught everything from anatomy and physiology and kinesiology to eastern and western medicine techniques to business and ethics classes. It was the most fun I had ever had, and my students flourished! After a couple of years I moved up to be the Program Coordinator for the Orlando Campus, and eventually was made the University Department Chair. I was on top of the world! But alas, I received news that the massage therapy program was coming to an end as of 2011. So, I decided to make the brave move to Los Angeles.
I was immediately hired by Southern California Health Institute in North Hollywood as an instructor, and encountered even more success with new kinds of challenges. I have had the pleasure of instructing students with ages ranging from 18 to 80. I’ve instructed blind students where I’ve had to be extremely descriptive in everything hands-on I was showing on top of describing diagrams and other terminology. And new cultures with language barriers that I had not yet gotten the opportunity to instruct. Needless to say, I have a passion for teaching any and all types of students. Most of them were trying out a new career and hadn’t been to school in decades and were nervous if they could learn new skills. Today, those are some of my most successful pupils! I remained at SOCHi for many years- moving from instructor to lead instructor to events director and eventually was made the Director of Education.

then life started to change.
After a decade in education, I truly missed being able to have time to treat and heal clients. I had my passion for teaching, and a true talent for the massage arts. So I decided to return to private practice, and have built up an amazing clientele over the last few years. And then the pandemic hit, and it hit hard! I was no longer able to share my healing with people and help those hurting, and eventually everyone was hurting in some way.
This was when I decided I wanted to make a change and help others again, but in a new way. I noticed that many people in relationships slowly started drifting apart. Many people discovered that they couldn’t handle the lockdown with the person they were in a relationship with, while others flourished at the opportunity of more time together. But most weren’t as lucky as the latter. Communication starts to breakdown, feelings swell inside of each other, and sex eventually fizzles out (which caused even more of an issue in some cases!)
On the topic of sex, let me digress for just a moment to explain the ‘erotic’ part of Erotic Wellness. Back in 2014, I was introduced to a world that I didn’t really know anything about. This is when I attended my first lifestyle event. This world was full of people from all walks and stations of life. And there was one thing everyone definitely had in common, they were all so nice! Yes, I know the goal is ultimately to ‘get down’ but there is never any pressure or disrespect involved, which makes the environment anything you want it to be.
I soon became more comfortable with my surroundings, and approached the club owner about providing massages in the club during parties. He agreed, and was just as excited about hosting as I was! It was in this setting that I realized how much massage could be used as a turn on for sex. Yes, I know there is tons of porn out there on this and also massage parlors etc, but this was different. I was performing massage for couples to get them all fired up before they went to go and ‘play’. I loved this idea, and it truly excited me! I have performed sensual and erotic massages for over 4 years and definitely know what I’m doing in this regard. Combining my knowledge of healing massage and someone’s sensual and erotic desires was an amazing experience for people on my table. This is where that ‘other part’ of Erotic Wellness comes into play.
