I use several different massage techniques with my clients and tailor them based on their needs. As a result, I am well versed in many massage modalities. Medical massage is one of them. Medical massage is unique because not many therapists are familiar with this modality. In addition, it can aid in treating conditions such as sciatica, thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel, and TMJ. My years of experience in the field and classroom mean that I have extensive knowledge of the therapies applied to help such pain ailments.

Prenatal massage is bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles & joints, improves circulation & general body tone, & relieves mental & physical fatigue. Pregnancy massage uses mostly Swedish strokes & usually lasts 50-60 minutes. Special care is taken in bolstering the body to allow for the physical changes that accompany. Because of the complexities, those receiving are asked to check with their doctor to make sure that massage is safe
